Who is a candidate for your services?
Our services are tailored for anyone ready to embark on a transformative journey towards a healthier, happier self. Regarding weight loss, if you're eager to shed 10 pounds or more and committed to making sustainable lifestyle changes, you've come to the right place. Especially if you've felt the frustration of regaining weight after previous successes; we're here to break that cycle and help you achieve lasting results. Hormone evaluation and balancing is appropriate for anyone experiencing a shift in their energy, weight, cognition, sex drive, sleep, and general feeling of wellbeing, especially if you are over the age of 35 years old. Or if you just want someone to perform a comprehensive work-up to uncover nutritional deficiencies, metabolic imbalances, dysbiosis, or other barriers to feeling your best- we do that too!
What are your general fees?
The initial 15-minute consultation is completely free. If you choose to proceed with services, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required for your comprehensive eval. You will then receive a lab order and intake paperwork. You may use your insurance to cover your labs or use one of our lab partners for the best cash price. Your comprehensive eval is $159 (minus the $50 deposit). Follow up visits are $59. Weight loss service fees are dependent on your treatment plan.
How does the fee for weight loss work?
After the comprehensive evaluation ($180), the fee for weight loss services are dependent on the medication used. Weight loss services typically average $300/month and include medication refills and a follow-up visit. Fees are charged upon follow-up and refill; therefore you will not be billed on a recurrent basis without your knowledge.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not accept insurance. We do accept most HSA payments. You are welcome to use your insurance for your lab work.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
The amount of weight you lose will vary depending on a number of factors, including your starting weight, activity level, and diet. Injectable weight loss medications have been shown to lead to reductions of 15-20% of bodyweight in combination with diet and exercise. Most people can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week when following a healthy weight loss plan.
How long will it take me to reach my weight loss goals?
The amount of time it takes to reach your weight loss goals will also vary depending on a number of factors. However, most people can expect to see results within 4-6 weeks of following a healthy weight loss plan.
How will I receive my weight loss medication?
The medication and supplies will be shipped directly to your doorstep. If you are receiving an injectable, I will walk you through detailed instructions for administering it ahead of time and I am also here to talk you through any questions that come up along the way.
Do you have a physical office?
No, Rising Wave Wellness is a 100% virtual practice- all you need is your smart phone or laptop. Telemedicine is quickly becoming the way of the future by improving patient access to medical care. From the comfort of your home, car, hotel, or office, we will meet via a secure telemedicine platform to conduct your visits.
How long are the virtual visits?
After the free 15 minute consultation, the comprehensive consultation is 60 minutes and the follow up visits are 15 minutes on average. For any questions that come up in the interim, you will have unlimited access to securely send a message through the patient portal or email. Be advised that you may be requested to schedule a follow up visit for complex questions received. We strive to respond to all messages within 24 hours Monday-Friday.
Do you offer a referral discount?
Yes, we love that you've shared your experience with someone else and want to say "thank you" by offering you a discount. If you refer someone and they proceed to establish themselves as a patient, you will receive a $50 credit on your account to cover fees or medication costs.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the nature of our services, we do not offer refunds. However, we want you to be the best version of yourself and we will go above and beyond to help you get there, even if that means referring you to another provider who may be a better fit.
